About Our Family
Welcome to our home and family!
Brent and I absolutely love our pets beyond words. We also love fostering and volunteering with Southwest Collie and Sheltie Rescue, as a matter of fact, volunteering with rescue is what lead us to launching Pawfessional Services LLC! We have been volunteering, fostering and pet sitting for over 20 years. Rescue has been a huge influence in ours life, it has taught me patience, knowledge and care for sick and shy animals, caring for animals with special needs and above all compassion for both animals and people.
We currently have 2 shelties in our family, Cash is about 10 years old and Trixie, is 4 years old. We foster a special needs sheltie named Dougie. We have had kitties, reptiles and fish over the years. We both grew up in a small farming community in Illinois, where both of our parents owned horses and livestock, so we have been exposed to a lot of other critters our whole lives and love them all! We live in a nice home that we designed around having our animals living in it with us and our fur guests too! We have installed cameras to help us monitor our home and animals. Our yard is completely fenced and secure as well.

Cindy is an amazing 2nd mom to my basset hound Ellie. I trust Cindy completely. Ellie loves to stay with her 2nd mom and she loves playing with her new friends. Cindy has been taking care of our dogs while were out of town since 2018. She comes twice a day feeds them and spends time with them. She also cleans up the patio after the dogs have been outside. She leaves a journal on the counter of all the activity that happened during her visit. She even at times sends photo's or short videos. It is such peace of mind knowing they are in her care while were gone. I actually check with her first to see if she's available before I even book a trip!
